Today was the intermediate goal. Get to Boise before Dinner for the RPCV Family Reunion. We'll stay there for 3 nights.
This leg should be about 6 hours of mostly flat highway driving. Started to see real farmland once we crossed into Idaho. There were a few quirky rest stops along the way.

PARK CITY
Stayed here 2 nights (last night and tonight!) at the AC Hotel by Marriot. Nice property, good rate. Park city itself is a ski resort area turned all season residential and vacation area.
Day 10 :: Moab and Utah

Woke up in Grand Junction CO, and today our goal is to get to Salt Lake City, UT. On paper that is a 300 mile trip and straight up non stop driving would be 5 hours. But we'll make a few stops.

Next morning at 6 AM, I drove around about 40 minutes before going to dealer to check the Air Conditioning. It was fine and full force and no funny noises. Hmmmm.
Day 5 :: New Orleans

So Day 5, had breakfast at a Waffle House, checked out of the hotel and arrived at New Orleans around 2:00PM. We planned to spend 2 nights in New Orleans. Until now we had been "Red Roofing" it. Red Roof Hotels have no pet fees and our average per night was between $80 and $110.
