Lobster Fest
We treated ourselves last night to an all you can eat lobster fest. It was a special treat at a restaurant for us. We very rarely have a chance to eat lobster. It was a great feast with a mix of mussels, clams, shrimp, and mostly rock lobsters. A nice cesar salad, cream soup, and all you can eat bread, and a piece of cheesecake for desert. Probably another 5 years before we eat lobster again, but we really enjoyed it.

Abraham Lincoln's Math Homework
Abraham Lincoln did his homework, and here is the proof. Pretty interesting the type of math problems they worked through back then; seems much like today. Some math just doesn't change....

Sister In Law Comes to Visit
Hyonmi's sister is staying with us for a little bit. She's fun and a great cook. So I am likely to eat well while she is here! She just had arthroscopic surgery on both knees. She's recovering well.

Fear of Crossing Bridges Opportunity
Stumbled upon this in the New York Times today. Fear of Crossing Bridges has its own word: Gephyrophobia. Fascinating read there on Gephyrophobia. The fear is real, so it seems like there is potential for a nice retirement hobby to assist those with the phobia. Drive them across the bridge. I think that would be a cool way to spend a few afternoons a week. Just have to find the right bridge.

Pig's Feet 족발
Went to eat with the friends last night. The main course was Pig's leg ("trotter") called "Jok-Bal" 족발 in Korean.
Folks will tell you Jok-Bal is good for skin and preventing wrinkles. Mostly because due to the long cooking method, there is a lot of collagen in it. Like all things though, it is as much about the experience as the menu. You need to go to a place famous for the type of food you are choosing.
