Not to far so we slept late enjoyed the side roads and some touring around Greenville area. Got some lunch at a farmers market. [--more--] [Greenville, SC](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenville,_South_Carolina) What an interesting place. You should visit. Had dinner with the nieces. Some nice local barbecue and tried pimento cheese. Followed by a walk in the city through the downtown [Falls Park](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falls_Park_on_the_Reedy) is a beautiful and unique downtown park. It's landscapeing rivals that of many horticultural parks; but, this is a open free and natural city park. The [Liberty Bridge](https://www.greenvillesc.gov/175/Liberty-Bridge) is a uniquely designed bridge to experience the view of the falls and area. Morfy was a little scared walking on this bridge. We carried her most of the way. Heard, but did not see, an interisting local festival/fundraiser that takes place annually here. Apparently "[the Duck Race](https://www.duckrace.com)" occurs across the world in many communities with a local fundraising initiative. In Greenville there is the [THE REEDY RIVER DUCK DERBY BY THE ROTARY CLUB OF THE REEDY RIVER GREENVILLE](https://www.duckrace.com/greenville). The 19th annual Reedy River Duck Derby is to be held May 6, 2023, in Falls Park, and you can register your own duck. Looks like fun and you don't even have to be there!
